Killybandrick is a newly built bungalow set in a peaceful location in the heart of Ireland. It offers spacious, light and airy self catering holiday accommodation which comfortably sleeps six.
The property is set within a wetland area and is a haven for wildlife, with many nesting birds, a friendly hare and even a pine marten being spotted by visitors.
Redhills is a small village which offers a traditional Irish welcome. There are two pubs and a small shop in the village.
Killybandrick is situated about a mile away from the centre of the village of Redhills along a quiet country lane with only a handful of neighbours, and is the ideal base to explore the wonders of the Northern half of Ireland from Sligo and Donegal in the West, to the Mountains of Mourne in the East, and Lough Neagh (the largest lake in Europe) in the North. Killybandrick is also within easy reach of the Rivers Erne, Annaghlee and Finn all excellent for fishing.
Killybandrick is truly a haven of peace and quiet - a real rural retreat to help recharge the batteries.
Cavan is known as the Lakeland county of Ireland because of the abundance of Loughs. Cavan is well known for its beautiful scenery and boasts excellent fishing and horse riding. Around every corner is another beautiful Lough! There are beautiful walks, cycling along the kingfisher cycle path, as well as pubs and restaurants where you can enjoy the famous Irish hospitality!
The accommodation comprises of fully equipped kitchen, with all modern appliances including a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
The spacious lounge has a woodburning stove and television with freesat digital tv, DVD player and CD player. Patio doors lead to the outside where there are lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
There are three large bedrooms, two spacious twin rooms and one double, with a super-king size bed and ensuite wet-room. There is a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Our caretaker lives opposite Killybandrick and is available to answer any questions and can offer local knowledge about events, things to do or just information about the Irish way of life!

• Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher.
• Colour TV in all rooms, “Freesat” digital TV in lounge, DVD player, hairdryer, iron and board.
• Bed linen and towels are provided.

• Garden. Hard-standing area with patio table and chairs. Ample parking.
• Pets are welcome, but garden is not secure.
• Lockable brick built dry shed available for storing fishing tackle etc. with a small fridge for bait.
