Over 100 years old, Cooga Cottage is a beautiful well equipped cottage set in a large private garden -- has recently been refurbished  and offers an excellent standard of self catering accommodation. Originally the family home of the present owners grandparents. Situated in a rural setting yet close to all amenities -- within walking distance of the village shops and pubs. Accommodation.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and will comfortably sleep 6 between 3 Bedrooms - - 2 upstairs bedrooms - - 1 double & 1 twin - -  1 downstairs bedroom with 1 double bed. Hairdryers in each bedroom. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with electric shower over bath.

The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with electric hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, coffee makers - - French Press, Expresso & Filter, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron/iron board, electric food mixer, electric carving knife, tea towels.

The living room is very cosy with open fireplace, LCD flat screen TV, DVD, Radio/CD.

Additional Features.

Cooga Cottage offers plentiful parking at the side and rear of the cottage and the beautiful landscaped garden has garden furniture. There is also a natural arbour with garden seat, fruit trees in season - - apples, blackcurrants , red currants and lots of wild birds. The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout and is especially suitable for families travelling with older family members as it has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Cot and high chair available on request - - please mention when booking.

Local amenities: Doon village is less than 10 minutes walk where you have several bars and grocery stores, newsagents, food takeaway, Bank, Post Office, Doctors Surgery & Pharmacy. The cottage is adjacent to the Doon Garden Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

Directions.

From Shannon Airport follow signs for Limerick. From Limerick City follow signs for N 24 ( Tipperary/Waterford road ). Travel along N 24 for approx. 13 km and turn left onto R 505 - - signposted Cappamore/Doon - - after approx. 2 km take first right - - signposted Cappamore/Doon - - this narrow winding road takes you to Cappamore - - go through the village to the very end of the Main Street and turn right at Maddens pub "The Bridge Inn" - - signposted Doon 6 km. This is your road to Doon which is less than 10 minutes drive. As you approach Doon watch out for the Church spire on your left - - the Church ( Doon Garden Chinese Restaurant ) is on a side road off the road you are travelling. Cooga Cottage is adjacent to the Church.

From Dublin & Cork Airports follow signs for Limerick then follow signs for N24 and R505 to Doon.
